Bill Jackson
Dr. Bill Jackson war Pastor, Lehrer und Autor und widmete sich der Aufgabe, die Kirche in der Theologie und Praxis des Reiches Gottes auszurüsten. Mit 16 Jahren begann sein Weg im geistlichen Dienst. Er erwarb Abschlüsse am Wheaton College, am Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (M.A. Neues Testament) und am Fuller Theological Seminary (Doktorat in Interkulturellen Studien). Gemeinsam mit seiner Frau Betsy gründete er Vineyard-Gemeinden in Indianapolis und San Diego, half beim Aufbau mehrerer weiterer Gemeinden und diente als Ausbildungspastor. Außerdem entwickelte er mehrere pastorale Ausbildungsschulen und einen großen Teil ihrer Lehrpläne. Als Gründer von Radical Middle Ministries hatte Bill eine tiefe Leidenschaft dafür, Wort und Geist, Kopf und Herz, im Leben der Kirche miteinander zu verbinden. Er schrieb mehrere Bücher und widmete sein Leben dem Aufbau des Leibes Christi. Bill bleibt wegen seiner Liebe zu Jesus, seiner Familie und der Kirche sowie seiner Begeisterung für Abenteuer und das Leben in Erinnerung.
