From the very first page of Scripture to the last, one God is at work — pursuing, redeeming, and restoring a world that went deeply wrong. Most of us have heard fragments of this story our entire lives. Very few of us have ever seen the whole thing at once. The Story of the Kingdom changes that. In clear, compelling language, Bill Jackson walks you through the entire arc of the Bible — showing how every covenant, every prophet, every silence, and every promise fits together into a single, breathtaking narrative that is still moving toward its conclusion. '"'This is the most exciting story I know." — Bill Jackson And here is what makes this different from any other Bible overview: the story is not finished. We are living in its fifth and final act — and each of us has a part to play. This book will not only help you understand Scripture. It will help you find your place in it. Originally published as The Biblical Metanarrative: One God • One Plan . One Story, this new edition includes a brand new chapter on our role in the unfolding of history — written for everyone who wants to do more than read the Bible, but to live inside it.
